The carbon filter is made from polyester/nylon which is recyclable. To discard your expired carbon filter, check to see if your local recycling center accepts polyester and nylon.
Sepura's carbon filter can be found under the unit's lid. Lift the lid, remove your expired filter, and replace it with your new carbon filter.
